Weddings.

Over the past 13 years, The Chip Shop Boys have played at hundreds of weddings all over the UK. If you are thinking of booking the boys, the first thing you need to do is email or call to see if your date is available. If it is, and if you are the first to enquire for that date, you will receive a quote and confirmation of a 7 day window where no one else can 'pinch' your date. Your quote will also include all the extras the boys can provide like disco music to save booking a DJ and wireless microphone for your speeches.

Wireless Microphone.

For any speeches or announcements at your wedding, you can have up to 3 high quality, handheld wireless microphones. This can make all the difference to a part of the day that is most feared by groom, father of the bride and best man! This can only be provided as long as there is enough room for the boys' technical team to set up early before the guests arrive. If there isn't enough room (usually because there are too many tables) the boys technical team will arrive towards the end of the wedding breakfast then start setting up as soon as the room is being 'turned around' for the evening part. Set up can take from 10 to 30 minutes depending on the 'kit-carry' from van to stage.

 

Disco

Usually, the boys will perform for around 2 hours, broken into 2 sets. For the rest of the time, the boys are happy to provide a free disco service until 1am at the latest. This means when you book The Chip Shop Boys, you do not need to book a separate DJ. This saves stage space, budget and hastle. The boys encourage couples to email lists of favourite songs to play on the disco, which also helps them decide which songs to play in their live set. They want your night to be the greatest night of your life, and DON'T FOR GET THE FIRST DANCE!!!

 

Gloucestershire Weddings

All the extras, including early set up are FREE to bookings inside Gloucestershire. For weddings outside Gloucestershire, it is standard for the boys' technical team to arrive by 6pm. There is a small addtional charge for early set up for weddings outside Gloucestershire, enabling you to use their wirelss microphones for speeches. The Chip Shop Boys disco service is free for everybody that books.

The boys take bookings for weddings in and around Gloucestershire 18 months in advance. For weddings over 100 miles from Gloucestershire, its 12 months.

 

Public Liability Insurance

The Chip Shop Boys are fully insured. This isn't just essential - it's compulsory.
